Music from Iconic Jazz Trios

This is the third show in a series highlighting music from iconic soloists, duos, trios, and groups that have influenced generations of musicians. Featuring Ginger Commodore and her dynamic trio, this performance showcases music from leading bandleaders of the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s. Expect a lively mix as they swing, bebop, and groove to the sounds that bop, before smoothing it all out. The set includes music from legendary groups like The Bill Evans Trio and The Oscar Peterson Trio, along with popular tunes from trio songwriting teams, and vocals from jazz icons like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Sarah Vaughan.
