Sue Scott is a veteran stage and commercial voice over-actor, who for 24 years was the female cast member on the public radio show A Prairie Home Companion. After PHC, Sue stepped back on stage in a variety of theater roles in the Twin Cities. Since its creation in 2019, she has been thoroughly immersed in producing Island of Discarded Women!
Gaelynn Lea won NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Contest in 2016. Since then, she has captivated audiences around the world with her haunting original songs and traditional fiddle tunes. Most recently, Gaelynn Lea composed and performed the music for Macbeth on Broadway, starring Daniel Craig and Ruth Negga. This iconic Shakespeare play was nominated for three Tony Awards, including Best Sound Design. Gaelynn Lea is a sought-after public speaker about Disability Rights and accessibility in the arts. She has shared her perspective on PBS NewsHour, On Being with Krista Tippett, The Moth Radio Hour, NowThis, The Science of Happiness Podcast, and via two widely-viewed TEDx Talks.

Lorna Landvik is the author of thirteen novels, including the bestselling Patty Jane’s House of Curl and Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons. She has performed stand-up and improv comedy around the country and is a public speaker, playwright, and actor. On Thursday, August 3rd, she will be regaling us with an excerpt from her most recent book, The Last Circle of Love (2022.)

Jaspar Lepak is a folk/Americana songwriter whose remarkable gift for melody is only surpassed by her poetry. She is currently working on a new album which focuses on feminist themes, including songs about choice, pregnancy, parenthood, and caregiving. Jaspar cares deeply about her local community, and as a parent, she makes sure to include shows where kids and listeners of all ages are welcome. She also leads regular music programs for assisted living and memory care and teaches private lessons.
