Creator, host Sue Scott is a veteran actor, who for 24 years was the female cast member on the public radio show A Prairie Home Companion. Since its creation in 2019, she has been thoroughly immersed in producing Island of Discarded Women. Special guest Alison Young has lived the life of a professional musician and classical radio music announcer. Now she embraces life as “the blissful hiker,” walking 12,000 miles on six continents and encouraging us all to “hike your own hike.” Musical guest Katie Dahl is a singer, songwriter and playwright known for her “razor sharp lyrics, with a hearty and soulful voice.” Her latest album, Seven Stones, is deeply personal and bravely honest.
