Scott Mateo Davies, also known simply as Mateo, is considered a master of several musical genres, especially flamenco and Argentine tango. He performs in 13 countries and has released over a dozen recordings. He has toured with such flamenco luminaries as Manolete, Jose Barrios, and Carmela Greco. He performed with tango legends Daniel Binelli and Polly Furman in Astor Piazzolla’s “Maria de Buenos Aires.” Mateo loves playing in a trio format and is excited to be appearing at Crooners with long-time co-conspirators Peter Susag and Eron Wood, both musicians of great skill and taste.
