Billy Stritch is an award-winning composer, arranger, vocalist, and jazz pianist celebrated for his masterful interpretations of the Great American Songbook. With a career spanning decades, Billy’s artistry combines sophistication, humor, and showmanship, captivating audiences worldwide. Billy is also a Grammy-winning songwriter, co-writing the country hit “Does He Love You?” with Sandy Knox. The song, recorded by Reba McEntire and Linda Davis, remains a classic and was reimagined by Reba and Dolly Parton in 2021.
In addition to his 25-year association with Liza Minnelli, Billy toured as pianist and musical director for Tony Bennett, including an appearance on the NBC special Tony Bennett at 90. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Billy created Billy’s Place, a popular weekly livestream celebrating the Great American Songbook.Currently, Billy performs weekly at Birdland Jazz Club and Bemelmans Bar, continuing to inspire audiences with his artistry and dedication to the music he loves. His contributions have earned him multiple awards, solidifying his legacy as a musical icon.
