Following four transatlantic tours with the acclaimed Swedish quintet Jaerv, American duo The OK Factor—cellist Olivia Diercks and violinist Karla Colahan—announce an exciting new collaboration. Teaming up with Jaerv’s own Markus Gustavsson (fiddle/vocals) and Harald Nilsson (guitar/vocals), they form the innovative ensemble My Favorite Folk. This joy-filled quartet emerges from a shared passion to play their favorite music with some of their favorite folk—and to share it with some of their favorite listeners! Join My Favorite Folk as they explore music from American, Swedish, and other folk traditions, immersed with contemporary sounds.
