Tim Sparks and Phil Heywood are two legendary fingerpicking acoustic guitar virtuosos. Tim Sparks was a founding member of Rio Nido, has recorded 13 albums, and tours in Europe and Japan. Phil Heywood moved to town in the 80s on the heels of a tour with guitar great Leo Kottke and has treated Twin Cities audiences to his down-home grooves and melodic flair ever since. Phil and Tim are both National Fingerpicking Champions and have been collaborating for over a decade.
